The Rapetti Report: Life at Northeastern

0 notes

soup-and-sousaphone asked: As you read on my post, I'm a current junior and looking at schools in New England. I've seen Brandeis, Boston U, Northeastern, Wesleyan, and MIT (which I decided was too much of a reach). I know you might have a little bit of a bias, but I was wondering if you could tell me what makes Northeastern stand out from other New England schools. Thanks!

Hey there! I’ve been asked this before and you’re totally right, I’m a bit biased haha but I hope I can help.

For me, the BIG thing was, of course, the co-op program. To graduate in four years (or five) with up to a year and a half of REAL work experience is invaluable.

Next biggest thing for me: campus-feel in an urban setting. From Centennial Common to Krentzman Quad, we have GREEN on our campus and we’re in a great location along Huntington Avenue.

And of course, the students, professors, academics, etc etc etc - Northeastern has consistently moved up in the rankings since I’ve been here and it’s holding strong.
